Library General Guidelines

  1. Produce your ID card if asked upon entrance to the library.
  2. Students are required to use only their own ID card for accessing and checking out books from the library. Using another individual's ID card for these purposes is considered a punishable offense.
  3. Maintain complete silence in the library. Group discussions should be carried out within the classroom during the daytime.
  4. Do not fold the pages of the book or use it as a writing pad.
  5. Avoid keeping arms and elbows on the books while reading.
  6. Do not write, scribble, mark, or underline in the books.
  7. Individuals who damage or lose the books/library materials should pay the exact amount of the book price or replace them.
  8. Do not damage any of the library assets (tables, chairs, lock, stairs, fans, picture frames, etc.).
  9. Non-library books, briefcases, handbags, and other packages are prohibited from being brought into the library premises.

The library bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property left unattended. However, upon request, students may deposit their personal belongings at the counter or the librarian's desk.

  1. Do not lean or stamp on the walls.
  2. In the library, students are expected to adhere to modest dress and behavior standards.
  3. Maintain cleanliness in the library and its surroundings. No food or drinks are allowed in the library.
  4. Once you have removed a book from the shelf for your use, do not replace it on the shelf, as you may place it in the wrong order. After using a book from the reference shelf, you may leave the book on the collection table itself.
  5. Concealing books for personal use and preventing others from accessing them is strongly discouraged.
  6. Each library computer is designated for use by one individual at a time and should not be shared among multiple users simultaneously.
  7. Master's students are required to sign in and out using the facial recognition device.
