Class Attendance Policy

One class hour comprises 50 minutes. One credit hour is equivalent to 15–16 class hours. Two credit hours require 30–32 class hours; three credit hours require 45–48 class hours.

  1. The student must maintain a minimum of 80% class attendance in each subject. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the student being required to repeat the course. Consequently, they will not be permitted to sit for the final exam and will receive an incomplete grade.
  2. The student can avail of a maximum leave of up to 20% in every subject. This includes both authorized and unauthorized leave.
    1. For the 2 credit hour courses, a maximum of 6 days of leave may be availed.
    2. For 3 credit hour courses, a maximum of 9 days of leave may be availed.
