General Guidelines

  1. Attend classes regularly. Regular class attendance is paramount for achieving academic success.
  2. Seek the help of your seniors or your teachers with class assignments before it is too late. However, do not let others do your work. Check with your instructors and/or tutors.
  3. Schedule your time each day to do your duties well.
  4. Get enough sleep by following the schedule, so that you are an alert and eager participant in the class.
  5. Balance study, college work, and play. Excess to anything is bad.
  6. The college takes no financial responsibility for hospitalization and medicines, etc., for those who have not paid for medical insurance.
  7. Monthly fees are to be paid by the 10th of every month. If a student fails to pay on time, an additional fine of ₹ 10/- per day will be collected as late payment. Fee payment must be made between 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on weekdays.
  8. If students miss the chapel services without obtaining prior permission, there will be a fine of ₹ 100/- in any regular services. However, for special services that are missed, the student will be charged ₹ 500/- with a warning.
  9. Students who go on vacation (Christmas/Summer) and return late will be charged ₹ 1000/- for the first day and the second day onward ₹ 100/- for each day.
  10. If a student leaves the campus without obtaining prior permission, there will be a fine of ₹ 1000/-, and strict action will be imposed.
  11. Any student who misses class without permission will be charged a fine of ₹ 100 each time. Only after paying the fine, they will be allowed to attend classes.
  12. Students are strongly discouraged from any form of groupism. There will be heavy punishment or even dismissal if students are found instigating groupism.
  13. Students are expected to obey all the rules and regulations and adapt to the culture of SIBBC&S throughout their life on campus, irrespective of their disagreement or different opinions.
  14. SIBBC&S discourages the idea of complaining; rather, we encourage constructive suggestions in any matter.
  15. Students may write their suggestions and put them in the suggestion box provided. The college authority highly appreciates students' constructive suggestions and will follow up on the action from time to time.
  16. Students are expected to refrain from adopting behaviors or lifestyles associated with the opposite sex.
  17. Physical displays of affection such as holding hands, linking arms, or hugging with others are discouraged.
