Policy Concerning Opposite Gender

SIBBC&S is not a matchmaking place for marriage. However, if any student and/or teacher is convinced of God's guidance and is interested in someone (no same sex) for marriage, it should only be done through the acknowledgment of the following authorities and guidelines.

  1. In the case of a student, both parents must consent to it and intimate the same to the Dean of Students and the Group mentor with a written, signed document.
  2. In case there is no parental responsibility available, the church pastor has to consent to it and intimate the same with a written, signed document.
  3. All conversations between the approved relationship must always be done in the presence of the authority. In the case of students, the mentor must be a part of it, whereas, in the case of the teacher, it must be done in the President's presence.
  4. All communications through cell phones must always be done in a God-honoring manner. Things beyond the control of the authorities should never be taken advantage of.
  5. Any violation of the above policy will result in dismissal from the institution.
